sewing

A sewing facility is our biggest enterprise, where we produce t-shirts, fashion accessories and pretty home ornaments.    Besides machining, girls learn additional skills in:  product design, pattern cutting, purchasing, fabric selection, quality control, stock management, and dispatch in addition to soft skills, and everything that goes along with being a valued employee!

We sell these in our Visitor Centre (https://g.page/daughtersvisitorcentre?share),  and online here 👉:  (https://daughtersstore.com/).

If they stay longer at Daughters, they are given the opportunity to be promoted to positions including managers and other leadership roles.

In our silk-screen printing enterprise, we print cute and inspirational messages on the products we make in our sewing and wood, such as t-shirts and wooden wall ornaments.

Jewellery is our fastest selling product!   Our talented team hand-craft creative designs of jewellery in colourful polymer clay to create works of art.  Other pieces are made using natural materials such as coconut shell, and locally available raw materials.

wood workshop

Our Sons of Cambodia program employs young transgender men who are seeking a way out of sex work.  In our wood workshop, they learn to hand-craft cute home ornaments out of wood, which we sell in our Visitor Centre.
